Hosted at House of Denna, an intimate café and event space, this interactive wine tasting will help you learn how to avoid the pitfalls and discover the pleasure of food and wine pairing. Following a refreshing glass of fizz on arrival, you'll start by learning about the principles of how food and wine interact.

Then you’ll get the chance to put the theory to the test with a series of six delicious canapés each expertly paired with a variety of wine styles. ​

No worries if you're new to wine tasting! This class is perfect for everyone, whether you're a total beginner or a wine enthusiast. You'll be learning in a laid-back and informal atmosphere. Get ready to have a ton of fun while expanding your wine knowledge!

During this wine tasting class, you'll experience:

Emily is a learning and development professional and self-confessed wine geek. She loves nothing more than enthusing people about wine and is on a mission to make wine engaging and accessible to everyone. ​There is no place for wine snobbery!

Emily has a background in hospitality management where she gained great experience across several iconic pub and bar groups. Her passion for wine led her to Bibendum Wine over ten years ago, where she's worked as a wine educator and training manager ever since. She holds a Diploma in wine from the WSET and is a WSET certified educator.  Emily has a wealth of experience inspiring confidence in wine through a variety of formal and informal courses, workshops, and tutored tastings. In recent years you might have seen her serving wine in Southeast London from her beautiful converted retro caravan @cantinacaravino. When it comes to wine her personal passion is for all things sustainable, organic, biodynamic, and natural. And at the weekend, you’ll find her cheering on her local rugby team, Blackheath.
