About the Event
Looking for a Mother's Day gift with a difference? Perhaps you would like a fun activity to do with your son or daughter (whether they are a child or an adult).Â
How about a silver ring making course for 2? In this 2.5 hour practical silver jewellery making workshop you will learn the basics of silver jewellery, using sterling silver and all the tools of the trade.
In the course of the class you will learn to:
- Thread a piercing saw
- Size your rings
- How to cut your ring to size
- Solder using a blow torch
- Shape using a hammer and mandrel
- File and finish
- Add detail and texture
At the end you will have your very own rings to take home and show off your handy work to friends and family.
The Venue:
This gorgeous cafe is located in Telegraph Hill, just by Telegraph Park. They run regular events and workshops, including plays and comedy nights. They also serve delicous pizzas in the evening and have a shop showcasing local traders and crafters.Â
